AI Code Agents 祭り ～ 2025 Winter ～ (“AI Code Agents Festival, 2025 Winter”) was an external technical event on AI coding agents held on 26 February 2025 on the 21st floor of Shibuya Scramble Square. According to 「AI Code Agents祭り」成功の裏側：大企業でAIコードエージェントを浸透させる7つのテクニック, it was planned by a member of CyberAgent’s AI Driven Promotion Office, who chose an event large enough to be talked about as the way to spread AI coding agents inside a large company: attention created outside, the author argues, crosses internal organizational boundaries that direct promotion does not.
Overview
The event took about three months from planning to delivery: planning and first messages to prospective speakers in November, speakers, landing page and venue in December, public registration, promotion and streaming and translation preparation in January, and final adjustments and rehearsal in February.
Its speaker line-up was deliberately broad, spanning CyberAgent executives, technical influencers, outside practitioners, global perspectives, internal practitioners, non-engineers, young engineers and overseas CEOs. Talks by overseas speakers were interpreted between English and Japanese by an AI real-time interpretation service, and the event was streamed live on YouTube; by pre-registration, over 1,300 of the audience were online.
Outcomes
The post reports more than 200 attendees on site and more than 1,300 online pre-registrations. Its recording had 20,863 views, which the author describes as the most-viewed video on the official CyberAgent Developers YouTube channel as of December 2025. In the attendee survey, overall satisfaction was 4.4 out of 5 (59% giving the top score), lightning-talk satisfaction 4.2, and venue and streaming quality 4.6; online attendees rated it slightly higher (4.5) than those on site (4.3).
A user group for coding agents, AI Agent User Group (AIAU), formed at the event’s after-party and went on to host further meetups. The author also reports follow-on invitations to speak, requests about adoption, greater awareness inside the company and more enquiries from other companies.
